Representatives of the tourism sector of Mongolia got acquainted with the tourism potential of Uzbekistan

On November 24-29, 2025, within the framework of the 30th Tashkent International Tourism Fair "Tourism on the Silk Road", representatives of the Mongolian Tourism Association and tour operators of this state visited our country.

The purpose of the visit was to expand bilateral tourism ties, establish new areas of cooperation and promote the tourism potential of our country in the international arena.

The participants of the infotour, representatives of the tourism sector of Mongolia, visited the cities of Samarkand and Tashkent, where they got acquainted with the tourist sites of Uzbekistan, its cultural heritage and famous pilgrimage sites.

In accordance with the program, the guests visited such major historical sites as Tashkent's Chorsu Bazaar, Mustakillik Square, Amir Temur Square, Tashkent's TV tower and modern city centers, as well as Registan, the Shahi-Zinda complex, the Ulugbek Observatory, the Bibikhanum Complex, the Silk Road International University of Tourism and the Samarkand Tourist Center. In addition, they got acquainted with the national cuisine, visited craft centers, hotels and other tourist sites.

The guests highly appreciated the updated tourist infrastructure of Uzbekistan, new hotels and digital guide services, a modern transport system, as well as comfortable conditions created for travelers.

Within the framework of the visit, meetings in the "B2B" format were also organized between the Association of Private Tourism Organizations of Uzbekistan, the Association of Tourism of Mongolia and tour operators of the two countries.

This information tour will help strengthen the tourism brand of Uzbekistan in Mongolia, as well as expand cooperation in the development of new tourist destinations and travel packages.
