From February 25 to 27 this year, the South Asia tourism exhibition “SATTE-2026” (South Asia’s Travel & Tourism Exchange) is being held at the Yashobhoomi Expo Center in New Delhi, the capital of India, where Uzbekistan is represented with a national pavilion.

For reference: the exhibition, which brings together more than 2,000 stands from over 50 countries and attracts more than 40,000 participants from around the world, is recognized as one of the largest events in the global travel industry.

This international exhibition, which has been held annually since 2023, features presentations by 10 tourism companies of Uzbekistan and JSC "Uzbekistan Airways" at the national stand organized by the Tourism Committee. Attractive tourist destinations of our country, attractive cultural sites, new infrastructure facilities, as well as special offers for Indian tourists are presented at the exhibition.

Throughout the exhibition, foreign participants and visitors are provided with detailed information about Uzbekistan’s tourism potential and its rich cultural and historical heritage.

In order to actively promote the country not only in India but also across Southeast Asia, participation in conferences and seminars, negotiations with tourism industry representatives, and the organization of B2B meetings have been planned.

Additionally, on the first day of the event, delegation members held meetings with representatives of several Indian tourism companies and organizations, including Air India (Airlines), NIMA Association, and UTEN Association. During the discussions, the parties addressed issues related to expanding tourism cooperation between Uzbekistan and India, developing direct air connections, creating joint tour packages, and implementing marketing and promotional projects aimed at attracting Indian tourists to Uzbekistan.

The parties also exchanged views on promoting the potential of Uzbekistan’s historic cities and on prospects for organizing major international and ceremonial events.

Participation in this exhibition will contribute to further strengthening tourism ties between India and Uzbekistan.
